Nate Mills

Before the age of 30, Nate Mills has explored 27 countries and 30 U.S. States, won a Grammy Award, a National Hispanic Recognition Program Award, and two National Rugby Championships. He’s lived and worked in San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York for several start up companies as well as Apple. He brings all of this experience to his work at Represented where we have the privilege to interact with incredible talent every single day.

Early in his young life, Nate spent five years with the Pacific Boy Choir in Oakland, CA. Nate was able to travel to Europe and perform at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. The Pacific Boy Choir also received a Grammy Award for Best Classical Album during his tenure.

Nate attended a college prep high school, Bishop O’Dowd, in Oakland California, where he was a National Hispanic Recognition Program scholar and founded the Bishop O’Dowd Rugby Club. Then it was on to St. Mary’s College of California for a chance to compete in Rugby on a national stage. In his sophomore and junior year, the Saint Mary’s College rugby program won two national titles. After years of extreme workouts and complete dedication, Nate never got into a single game.

After graduating from college, Nate had the rare opportunity to backpack through Europe. He traveled by Eurail from Stockholm to Dublin stopping in 17 countries and 23 cities, including Berlin, Budapest, Prague, Rome, Barcelona, Paris, and London, playing music on the streets for money. To this day his favorite international city is Budapest, Hungary.

Nate returned to the U.S. several months later and had the unique opportunity to join Apple.  Nate was a Data Annotation Specialist with the top-secret Special Projects Team. He left Apple to follow his passions and join a music-tech startup, Dubset Media, as employee #11. Three years later, the company was acquired by Pexeso Inc.

Nate spent the Covid years living and working in Los Angeles. When the pandemic lifted, Nate decided to travel across the United States in a groovy van to live and work in Brooklyn, NY. He and his girlfriend visited 11 states as well as national and international landmarks like Yellowstone, Mt. Rushmore and Niagara Falls. When he’s not recruiting technology executives Nate spends most of his time eating at fabulous New York restaurants, exercising and frequenting the many local concert venues.
